January 20th, 2017.

It's coming quickly. And there's so much to be done, so much to get ready. No, not just in Washington, DC (but there, too, of course!), but here in this space and with this movement.

As we prepare for the launch of #4YOS, we want to introduce our Transition Team and share our work. Much like an administration-elect has to catch up to speed on current policies, procedures and the human capital of various bureaucracies, all while establishing its own agenda to lead, our team has just started building the plane while trying to fly it.

This site and the praxis of the concept has quite a few moving parts, and there are important decisions and groundwork we want to share with you. What are we about? What needs to be done? Who will do the work? There's lots of change happening, and we're figuring this out as we go. We want to articulate why and what we're up to, in hopes that you'll be moved to partner with us, or to pass our name along to someone you know who might want to!

And, at the same time, this is about action. We build as we go, and we act. So as we transition and prepare for our terms of service to begin, here's a little bit about our 4YOS Core Team, the folks who have pledged to run the operations of this collective.

Connected via family, friendships and vocation, we are dedicated to cultivating and supporting a community of folks dedicated to the idea that committed citizens can change the world.
